Testing the evaluation of the hair STRENGTHENING and REPAIRING ACTION

In conjuction with the Department of Drug Science and Technology, Univeristy of Turin.

In vitro test made on:
  • natural hair strand
  • permed hair strand
  • hair strand bleached once
  • hair strand bleached twice


    • THE REPAIRING ACTION has been evaluated using a scanning electron microscope to evaluate the morphology/structure of the hair before and after using the product.

    THE REINFORCING ACTION has been evaluated by means of a tensometer via a verification of tensile strength of the hair before and after using the product.

    From the results it can be concluded that:

    THE REPAIRING ACTION: the setting phial helps to restore capillary structure; cuticle morphology appears to be much more regular after treatment,
    above all after repeated treatments and especially for hair that was significantly damaged before treatment.
    THE REINFORCING ACTION: the setting phial allows to increase the tensile strength of the hair after just one treatment (for example permed hair by almost 30%).
